Fused Glass Citrus Bowl Workshop
Join Megan for a Fused Glass Citrus Bowl Workshop full of fresh color, precision cutting, and dimensional design.
You'll create a 5" citrus-inspired fused glass bowl while building real technique along the way — practicing circle cutting for clean forms, exploring contour fusing for depth and definition, and learning slumping schedules to shape your bowl. You'll also get an introduction to glass powders or enamels for added color and texture.
Emphasis will be on precision cutting, thoughtful layering, and understanding how form and surface work together — leaving you with a cheerful finished bowl and new skills to bring into Open Studio.
Prerequisites
No prior experience necessary.
Class Details
- Create one 5" citrus-inspired fused glass bowl
- Instruction in circle cutting techniques and contour fusing
- Introduction to slumping schedules for bowl shaping
- Intro to glass powders or enamels for added color and texture
- Duration: 2 hours
- All supplies included
- Finished artwork will be kiln-fired after class
- Ages 16+
- Skill Level: Beginner-Friendly
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Ready for pickup approximately 7–10 days after class
