Fused Glass Citrus Bowl – Fused Glass Academy Series 

Dive into fresh color, precision cutting, and dimensional design in Fused Glass Citrus Bowl – Fused Glass Academy Series, a skill-building workshop where you’ll create a 5" citrus-inspired fused glass bowl while refining foundational techniques. You’ll practice circle cutting for clean forms, explore contour fusing for depth and definition, and learn slumping schedules to shape your bowl, with an introduction to glass powders or enamels for added color and texture. Emphasis will be on precision cutting, thoughtful layering, and understanding how form and surface work together, leaving you with a cheerful finished bowl and the skills to create more during Open Studio.

Prerequisites

Students must have completed:

• Fused Glass Academy 101 – Intro to Fused Glass Basics

This ensures you are comfortable with glass cutting, layering, studio safety, and foundational firing concepts. No prior circle cutting experience required—just your creativity!

Class Details

• Create one 5" citrus-inspired fused glass bowl
• Instruction in circle cutting techniques and contour fusing
• Introduction to slumping schedules for bowl shaping
• Intro to glass powders or enamels for added color and texture
  
• Duration: 2 hours
• All supplies included
• Finished artwork will be kiln-fired after class
• Ages 16+
• Skill Level: Intermediate
• Closed-toe shoes required
• Ready for pickup approximately 7-10 days after class
