Welcome to Open Studio
Open Studio is an opportunity to continue to grow your glass skills and practice. Its also a great way to connect with other budding glass artists in a studio setting.
You need basic glass knowledge and skills necessary to able to work independently to create an open studio project. You must be able to create your project independently, and although brief assistance will be available, this is not designed as a teaching session.
If you need a guided open studio session, this is available for an additional fee and must be scheduled ahead of time.

Only Bullseye Glass
This is a Bullseye Glass only studio. No outside glass is allowed unless arranged prior to scheduling studio time. Basic Supplies such as hand tools, cleaner and glue will be provided.
Studio Cleanliness
Please be considerate of others in the studio space and leave table space and equipment so that others can use the space after you. Clean the work tables and dispose of scrap glass in proper bins. Leave the work spaces as you found them. There is no storage of user’s glass or supplies.
Kilns
Only staff is allowed to program and manage kilns. Staff will work closely with Open Studio artists regarding fire schedules. Staff suggestions however advice is never a guarantee of results. User and staff will sign off on firing schedule prior to firing.
Casting Glass Stones is not responsible for work that is fired with the agreed upon schedule, regardless of outcome.
Costs
$30 - includes 2 hrs studio time, 1 firing and use of hand tools and molds. (no glass is included)
Additional firings $10.
Kiln rental fees are per day.
Each 24 hour period is one firing fee.
Fiber paper is an additional cost.
Instructor guided- additional $50/hr
