Needle-Felted Snowman

Get ready for the holidays early with this cozy needle-felting class! You'll sculpt your very own 4"–6" wool snowman from scratch, then make it uniquely yours by choosing a hat and scarf color from dozens of options, plus your pick of nose shape. This class covers needle-felting basics — sculpting with wool, applying color, and attaching pieces to your form — with step-by-step guidance and individual help along the way. Want to hang yours on the tree instead? Snowmen can also be made as ornaments.

Prerequisites

No prior experience necessary. Beginner friendly.

Class Details

• Design and create one 4"–6" needle-felted snowman (ornament option available)
• Choice of hat color, scarf color, and nose shape
• Instruction in needle-felting basics, wool sculpting, color application, and attachments
• Duration: 2.5 hours
• Date: July 16, 5:30–8:00pm
• All supplies and tools provided
• Skill Level: Beginner
• Ages 10+; under 14 must be accompanied by an adult

Meet Your Instructor

Maggie Wolcott is a local needle felting artist with 15 years of felting experience, alongside 20 years of experience teaching college-level English.
