Crackle Bowl Workshop

Dive into bold color and luminous design in the Powder & Light Bowl Workshop, a captiv ating fused glass class exploring the expressive possibilities of glass powders. You'll learn how to apply, blend, and manipulate powdered glass to create organic branching patterns, soft gradients, and stunning areas of transparency that allow light to pass beautifully through your finished piece. By the end of class, you'll design one unique powder bowl that will be kiln-fused and slumped after class to create a functional, artful form.

Prerequisites No prior experience required.

Class Details

• Create one 7" powder fused glass bowl
• Instruction in powder application, layering, color blending, and transparency techniques
• Duration: 2 hours
• All supplies included
• Finished bowl will be fused and slumped after class
• Ages 16+
• Closed-toe shoes required
• Participants must be able to wear an N95 mask during powder use
• Skill level: Beginner
• Ready for pickup approximately 7–10 days after class
